One Month!

I can't believe it has been one month! Fastest month ever.  This post is a few days late because we were in a car accident on Cole's one month birthday, on the way to his appointment. We are okay.  Just a fender bender, and I heard from the insurance company today, that the "investigation" was concluded and we will be getting our car fixed for free.  Ridiculous! I am so thankful that we are okay.  It was so emotional for this new mom to have her baby in the car.

Cole is now 10 lbs, 2.5 ounces, 21.75 inches long and his head is 14.75 inches. He is in the 75th percentile for every category. So proportional this month! haha!

Cole is nursing every 2-3 hours during the day and every 3-4 hours at night.  Usually we are up twice at night for feedings.  Sleep deprivation is intense, but my body is adjusting, and I cannot complain! Tom is so helpful and quite skilled at putting Cole to bed, and Cole is such a happy, easy baby.  We are so thankful!

 Cole's current favorite things include...MILK, his monkeys, playing basketball with Tom, being outside in the stroller, and being in the Ergobaby.

The first month was full of excitement. We had tons of visitors and friends come love on Cole.  We've had friends from church bring us meals 3 days a week...which is about to end, and we are REALLY going to miss that!
