We had such a great time celebrating Cole's birthday! We went to my parents' house in Austin so that we could get as much family there as possible. It was a huge blessing to have Tom's family come from Dallas, and my brother and sister-in-law from Houston. All for Cole! The theme of the party...celebrate Cole! I didn't want anything over-done, just some good quality time for him with his closest relatives.
We started off the weekend picking up some gluten free cupcakes for our birthday cake maker (Jean)... and since
Courtney is always up for
Bird Bakery, Cole got to hang out with his buddy Jack for a little while.
|
On the drive, Cole enjoyed our gift to him, a custom board book with family pics! |
We met up with Jackie and Suzanne for lunch Friday on our way to Round Rock. Suzanne gave Cole his first french fry... he ate it within 5 seconds.
|
Cole was super pumped to see the "doggie." He practiced his favorite word many times that weekend. |
We hung out with G-Pegs and Doc in the hotel for a little bit. Cole had a taste of sweet tea. He didn't love it.
Cole loved having all his party guests celebrate with him. He was so spoiled with attention!
|
Cake time! Didn't Jean do a great job?!?! So cute!!! |
|
Cole hated the attention!!! Ha! But Grant is ready for some "happy cake!"
|
Gift time! Cole loved opening presents. No problem with the attention there...haha
He loves his puzzles, cars, Taylor Duck t-shirts, cozy truck, and art work by Aunt Jean and Uncle Teddy.

Playing with the box.

Cole taking a rest on the "doggie's" bed.. he wasn't too pleased with all the
hair in his mouth after. hahahahaa |
