Holy Moly! Cole Henry is 12 months old. ONE YEAR! What a fast year it has been!! His birthday party post will be coming soon, but here are some fun things about Cole this month.
Cole is crawling super fast, waving at everyone and learning to play catch. He can show us how big he is, clap nonstop and hug every stuffed animal in sight. He LOVES his toy cups, and real cups. He gets super excited to see Daddy. And doggies. And birds. Most wildlife. He is unrolling all of our toilet paper and eating all of our food. He also has become quite skilled at launching the food onto the floor. I mop a lot. He loves his teddy bear, and now drinks cows milk. One year of nursing went well and ended well. He has been working on taking just one nap for a while now, and we are finally there! Cole also started sleeping through the night (insert happy dance, praises to God, and applause).
Our little Cole Henry isn't so little anymore. Weighing in at 22 lbs 2 oz (70%) and at a height of 31.5 inches (98%)... he continues to follow after his dad's physique. We adore him and have had a BLAST this year. I have never been so tired and challenged, but also beautifully refined by the Lord in this sweet season of new-parenthood. So thankful!
He is too too cute! One year down, many many more to go :) And I can totally relate with food ending up on the floor. Sometimes I feel like I mop ALL DAY LONG!
