We are determined to go to the beach every year. At least once. We went to Mexico in May, but of course, Cole was not invited on that adventure. Port Aransas was calling our name, so we made a last minute trip with Mimi, Pops, Aunt Jean and Uncle Teddy.* My parents have a lot of pictures on a waterproof camera, so I will update this eventually.

Oh hey.. happy anniversary to us! |

Pops and just a little seaweed. |

Cole didn't get the memo that we sleep in on vacation. So he got to watch
Sesame Street for the first time. A huge hit and I want to buy all the dvds now. |

Can't leave home without the spoon. |

Thanks for digging a hole for me Uncle Teddy! |
The 20 mph winds were a little rough for our little man, but overall it was a good trip. He warmed up to the sand and the waves. He definitely loved watching the birds, dogs and people. And had a blast getting showered with attention from the family. We didn't sleep much, but came back in one piece!
*Uncle Teddy is my brother Travis. Travis Edward Gilbert was joking that his country name would be T-Eddy back in 2008 when he met his soon to be kinda-country wife, Jean Ann. Naturally, I have called him T-Eddie ever since, and now that Cole is in the picture, he has turned into Uncle Teddy.
1. I love the fact that he loves the wooden spoon.
ReplyDelete2. Kinda-country?! Haha.
Haha...Kinda meaning that you love outdoors, guns and animals, but still dress cute and talk normal... :)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! Count us in next year!
