A Whole Year of Cole Henry

Hip Hip Hooray!!! I finished Cole's first year album... only one month after he turned a year. I think that is pretty good!!! It's only 71 pages...so I am sure you have plenty of time to sit back, relax and enjoy a full year of Cole Henry! Page 69 is my favorite, so at least look at that one... ;)

God is so good and I was so emotional working on this. He was SO SMALL! And now he is SO BIG. What a gift to look back and remember some sweet times with my little Cole Henry. Thank you Lord!

My Birthday Weekend!

We traveled to Plano this weekend to enjoy the long weekend and my 27th birthday.  (Note: I loooove when Labor Day weekend and my birthday overlap.  Such a treat!)

I was super spoiled by Tom and his family.  Enjoy the pics!

My gift from Tom and Cole, wrapped in some of Tom's street design. haha! Loved the Loft shirts he picked out for me. He knows me so well :)
Cole and Tom at the airport.  Gearing up for some Aggie football!
Cousins at Costco! Always a fun trip.
Blessed!!! Love my sweet boys. And the rice Cole left on my shirt.
We went to Gordon Beirsch for my birthday lunch. So tasty!
They surprised us with some AMAZING chocolate cake.  Grant was super excited.

Grant's Birthday Song: "Happy Cake to You.  Happy Cake to You.  Happy Cake to Angie and Grant. Happy Cake to You.

Had a great weekend! Twenty-Six was definitely a great year.  Excited for another!

Cole's First Birthday Party

We had such a great time celebrating Cole's birthday! We went to my parents' house in Austin so that we could get as much family there as possible.  It was a huge blessing to have Tom's family come from Dallas, and my brother and sister-in-law from Houston. All for Cole! The theme of the party...celebrate Cole! I didn't want anything over-done, just some good quality time for him with his closest relatives.

We started off the weekend picking up some gluten free cupcakes for our birthday cake maker (Jean)... and since Courtney is always up for Bird Bakery, Cole got to hang out with his buddy Jack for a little while.

On the drive, Cole enjoyed our gift to him, a custom board book with family pics!

We met up with Jackie and Suzanne for lunch Friday on our way to Round Rock.  Suzanne gave Cole his first french fry... he ate it within 5 seconds.

Cole was super pumped to see the "doggie." He practiced his favorite word many times that weekend.

We hung out with G-Pegs and Doc in the hotel for a little bit.  Cole had a taste of sweet tea.  He didn't love it.

Cole loved having all his party guests celebrate with him.  He was so spoiled with attention!

Cake time! Didn't Jean do a great job?!?! So cute!!!

Cole hated the attention!!! Ha! But Grant is ready for some "happy cake!"

Gift time! Cole loved opening presents.  No problem with the attention there...haha
He loves his puzzles, cars, Taylor Duck t-shirts, cozy truck, and art work by Aunt Jean and Uncle Teddy.

Playing with the box.

Cole taking a rest on the "doggie's" bed.. he wasn't too pleased with all the
hair in his mouth after. hahahahaa
With my handsome one year old.

So blessed to have Cole's closest family together.  What a huge gift.
